Sars-Cov-2 is the virus that causes COVID-19 (coronavirus) It is thought to be spread primarily through respiratory droplets when infected person coughs or sneezes.
Common symptoms are fever, dry cough, shortness of breath and head aches. Patients maybe able to spread while presymptomatic or asymptomatic state. Symptoms can appear as few as 2 days and as long as 14 days after exposure.
Its possible for person to get Covid-19 by touching surface with virus on it and then touching there own face (mouth, nose or eyes) but this is not the primary way of spread.
We follow the guidance from:
Interim management for emergency and urgent dental care provided by the ADA (American Dental Association)
As well as the guidance for workplace Covid-19 by OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act) US Department of labor.
Cleaning and disinfecting with EPA (Environmental Protective Agency) approved disinfectants against emergent viral pathogens.
